We also partner with the Ashland Volunteer Rescue Squad. The rescue squad primarily provides emergency medical services in the greater Ashland community and is designated Company 16. Operating three advanced life support equipped ambulances and several support vehicles, we are happy to assist them with a number of paramedics and EMTs on our roster. How We Partner with Ashland Volunteer Rescue Squad
- Joint Training: AVFC and AVRS regularly train together to respond to medical emergencies.
- Emergency Response: Firefighters from AVFC regularly respond to emergencies with members of the rescue squad, working together to help treat and transport patients.
- Community Engagement: Ashland Rescue and Ashland Fire are often together at community events, showing the important equipment both organizations use to help save lives.
